Debenhams Wedding Insurance has today launched a new low-priced wedding insurance policy. Their “Silver” product is priced at just £39 and provides £5,000 of cover in respect of cancellation.

This new product is great news for Brides and Grooms-to-be who want to purchase wedding insurance from a reputable high street brand such as Debenhams, but until now haven’t been able to justify the higher premiums.

Debenhams now competes more closely with the likes of E&L and Dreamsaver who until now have dominated the lower end of the wedding insurance market.

At the same time, Debenhams has slashed 22% off it’s most expensive product, the “Diamond Plus” policy, which is now priced at £245 down from £318 and provides up to £70,000 of cover in respect of cancellation.
