When you stop and think how many vendors you rely on for your big day it is staggering. For instance there is the photographer, flowers, bridal shop, car hire and many more. What might happen if any one of these ruined your big day? When booking vendors they all usually want a deposit, and of course some may want you to settle the bill in full before your wedding day. Any vendor costs a lot of money and if they went out of business before your big day you may not only have to look for a replacement vendor, but also stand to the money you already paid out.

If you take out wedding insurance you are typically covered for vendors letting you down. If they let you down before the big day you may be able to find another vendor to replace them, or if on the big day itself, at least you will not lose out financially as you may be able to claim back the money you have lost.
