Your big day may go off very well and your photographer may take some beautiful photos of your bid day which you will be able to treasure for many years to come. However, while the day has gone off great with no mishaps, alas the photographer leaves his camera in his car and it is stolen before the film can be processed. You have no photos and no memories of your wonderful day. If you have insurance behind you, you are able to at least claim for your financial loss and recoup the money you spent on the photographer.
Wedding insurance typically also covers such mishaps on the big day itself with the photographer, such as faulty camera and provides insurance against the photographer himself letting you down at the last minute. This might be for instance if you book him and he goes out of business before your wedding day or if the photographer should get lost on his way to your wedding and doesn’t turn up to capture your wedding day.
