When you consider how much you budgeted for your wedding and how much you might spend in total, the two can differ greatly. You could end up going over your budget by hundreds of pounds if you are not careful and in some cases you could be starting your married life in debt. It can be tempting to try and keep down the costs by avoiding paying out for wedding insurance. However if the worst should happen this could be a huge mistake.

If you have allocated money for every vendor and factor of your wedding and have spent your budget, what would you do if suddenly the bridal gown business you had ordered your dress from and spent thousands of pounds on, went out of business? Without insurance to fall back on you would have to find more money for another dress and not be able to claim back the money you already spent. This of course takes you way over your budget.
