Weddings are not cheap, even a small wedding with close family and friends can leave your bank account depleted by thousands of pounds. When paying out so much it can be tempting to avoid adding on extra costs that you could perhaps do without. However is wedding insurance an extra cost that you could manage without?

Any form of insurance is a bit of a gamble. If you take it out you may not use it, however if you do not then the chances are that something will go wrong and you will wish you had it. Wedding insurance could be worth that extra cost when you bear in mind that if the whole wedding has to be cancelled you could end up losing many thousands of pounds. If you have insurance you are able to claim back the maximum amount your policy pays out.

Wedding insurance is offered at different levels which make it affordable for whatever type of wedding you are having. Of course the more you pay out for insurance the more you may get back if you need to make a claim. If possible you will want to insure your wedding for its total cost in case the worst happens and it is cancelled.
